This Privacy Policy explains how ScrubHunt, Inc. ("ScrubHunt," "we," "us") collects, uses, and shares personal information when you use our website, app, and text messaging services (together, the "Services"). By using the Services, you agree to the practices described here.

Information we collect

We collect information you give us and information collected automatically when you use the Services.

• Contact and account information: your name, email address, mobile phone number, and login details.
• Content you provide: your CV, credentials, job preferences (such as rate, cities, and job types), messages, and anything you send us for support.
• Payment information: if you make a purchase, payments are handled by a third-party processor. We do not store full card numbers.
• Device and usage information: IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, and similar data collected through cookies and analytics tools.
• SMS information: your mobile number, your opt-in consent and when you gave it, and records of messages sent and received.

How we use information

We use personal information to:

• Provide, operate, and improve the Services.
• Create and manage your account.
• Send the text messages and emails you have signed up for, including job requests, recruiter requests, and account notices.
• Respond to support requests.
• Understand how the Services are used so we can fix problems and make them better.
• Protect against fraud and abuse, and comply with the law.

SMS / text messaging

You can opt in to ScrubHunt text messages by entering your mobile number and checking the text-message consent box when you set up your account on our website (or later in your account settings), then confirming the number with a one-time code we text you. If you opt in, we will send you job requests, recruiter requests, and account updates to the mobile number you provide. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of any purchase.

• Message frequency: message frequency varies.
• Costs: message and data rates may apply.
• Opting out: reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts. You will receive one confirmation message, and then no more texts unless you opt in again.
• Help: reply HELP for help, or contact us at support@scrubhunt.com.
• Carriers: carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

Email communications

If you create an account or give us your email address, we will send you service emails such as account confirmations, security notices, and policy updates. You cannot opt out of these while you have an account.

We send marketing emails, such as newsletters and offers, only if you opt in. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any marketing email or by emailing support@scrubhunt.com. Unsubscribing from email does not affect text messages, and replying STOP to texts does not affect email.

We do not sell or rent your email address, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as follows:

• Employers and recruiters: to match you with jobs, employers can see your credentials and qualifications from your profile. Your name and contact information are shared with a specific employer only when you approve that employer's request. You can pause matching at any time.
• Service providers that help us run the Services, such as hosting, analytics, payment processing, and SMS delivery. They may use it only to perform services for us.
• Legal and safety reasons, when required by law or to protect the rights, property, or safety of ScrubHunt, our users, or others.
• Business transfers, such as a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
• With your consent or at your direction.

The above excludes text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Your choices

You can opt out of texts at any time by replying STOP, and unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in any email. You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal information by emailing support@scrubhunt.com. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies.

Retention and security

We keep personal information only as long as needed to provide the Services and meet legal obligations. We use reasonable safeguards to protect it, but no system is completely secure.

Children

The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will change the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, notify you by email or through the Services.
